comentario sobre o filme - The Emperor's Club.

William Hundert (Kevin Kline) is rated a professor of history of classical antiquity (Greece and Rome) truly in love with his work. Also, Hundert is one of the bastions of traditional school where he gives his classes. Respeitado by the director and the students, each year the teacher organized a competition culture that has become classic in college, "The Emperor's Club". After a few days of class passed, his class is interrupted for the arrival of a new student, Sedgewick Bell (Emile Hirsch), arrogant and arrogant son of a senator. Faced sometimes the boy, Hundert solves help from the father of the boy to get make it applies more in education and enhances the education that is having access. From their commitment comes the first major opportunity to enhance Sedgewick and give him the necessary stimulus to greater interest in school to take into their hands the chance to qualify it to the finals of "The Emperor's Club".
The education carries in itself, by implication to the full realization of our students through their contact with us, teachers. That does not mean that we are exemplary and virtuous. We are subject to flaws and imperfections as everyone else. What is expected is that we, through our pedagogical practice, with the proximity of our students, our ability to talk and so many other skills and competencies that we should have, we will be able to speak to the heart, reaches the soul, perpetuating words , Thoughts and actions that are more than mere content.
